ST. PETER'S LUTHERAN SCHOOL
St. Peter's Lutheran School exists to glorify God through Christian Nurture, Mission Outreach, Quality Academics and Religious Education. St. Peter's Lutheran Church had a vision for mission outreach and opened St. Peter's Lutheran School in August 1993 with preschool through fourth grade. A grade was added each year and by September 1997 the school was complete as planned, with preschool through eighth grade.
The school is owned and operated by St. Peter's Lutheran Church and is part of the mission outreach of the church. The school is governed by an elected school board made up of nine members elected for three year terms. The board members are elected by the congregation at its annual meeting. It is the job of the school board to develop policies and procedures for the school in line with the mission and policies of the church. All policies are approved by the church council. The school is a member of and accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
